usb-pd is making it into 6.10? is that full in-kernel support so we can have dual role negotiation and all that or is it just the same as what we've had in the wip tree up until now?

<agl>
steev: Do you patch 6.9?
<steev>
do i, yes. have i, no
<agl>
steev: OK
<steev>
sorry, everything is on fire at work, and that needs to be fixed before i can focus on the kernel stuff
<agl>
steev: It's OK!

the light at the end of the tunnel is near though... we should be mostly good to go tomorrow :D and then we unleash it on users and hope for the best
<craftyguy>
do these updates in this repo make it to linux-firmware eventually?
<steev>
yeah, that's just where kalle stages them for testing
<jglathe_>
my ath11k was acting up again on volterra (its also on X13s), just went to look and saw this. Just loaded it now, let's see.
<steev>
do it
<jglathe_>
need to have a look at the board file if there is something interesting /better for volterra, still using my patched one on volterra, though. fw got loaded, looks ok atm
<craftyguy>
ath11k on my x13s is still wildly unstable :(
<steev>
jglathe_: you could probably submit a bug report to request it
<jglathe_>
where, sure
<jglathe_>
debian?
<steev>
no, kernel bugzilla
<jglathe_>
okay
<steev>
look for closed bug reports mentioning X13s
<steev>
should show the bug report where we did that for the x13s
<jglathe_>
misunderstanding, sorry. I will look into the board file and see if there is one now and add that info (or provide the patch that I'm living with).
<jglathe_>
There was no entry for Volterra in the board file, I tested all of them, and found that the x13s one is best for Volterra. Added entries for it, never requested to include upstream yet.
<jglathe_>
i will check and update the ticket

<steev>
yeah, you'd wanna remove your patch so you can give the error like johan did with the x13s to get kalle to add it

so I'm using 6.7.10 now, there are many changes in the upstream/etc branches?
