<init_> just upgraded from 6.2 to 6.3-rc5, wifi stopped working. seems to be unable to load board.bin files, even if they are where it seeks for them. I suspect I missed an update on firmware file. Anyone has a pointer to the new ones?
<steev> kvalo's ath11k-firware repo, you need the board-2.bin file
<steev> if there was a firmware package update (and there was recently) and you have firmware-atheros installed, it got overwritten
<init_> most likely the case
<init_> thanks
<steev> hopefully that makes its way into linux-firmware repo, but i don't know what the life cycle is there
<agl7> steev: Where does I find kvalo's ath11k-firmware repo?
<agl7> Ah I have it found on github.com
<steev> if you used the x13s-firmware repo, it has it in there already
<agl7> steev: x13s-firmware repo ? Where does I found it?
<steev> ironrobin on github
<agl7> Thanks steev :-)
<agl7> steev: I have to install debian new because I want to upgrade to Debian sid but the root partition was only 9,9 GB and "apt dist-upgrade" stops when the partition was full. When I reboot I habǘe a lot of errors.
<init_> oh btw, lenovo only swapped the keyboard and it fixed the missing key issue.
<init_> got the laptop back a couple days ago.
<steev> yeah, that sounds like a reinstall :)
<agl7> yes ;-)
<agl7> I will install it in the internal nvme ssd. The last installation was on a USB-Stick.
