Hmm, I have no idea when it happened because the c630 was sitting there at a login prompt on my coffee table, but something isn’t right, remoteproc keeps crashing

Can you please tell me if it is possible to fix in Lenovo X13s Debian 12 with the kernel steev 6.3.1 (6.3.y from git compiled) twitching of the mouse cursor? The cursor does not work smoothly?

i don't experience that at all here - do you have all the firmwares updated from windows?
<steev>
istr a few touchpad firmware updates
<Bioxvirizm-x13s[m]>
steev if you are talking about updates via vanced, then, yes everything is updated. Or is there another method?
<Bioxvirizm-x13s[m]>
s/vanced/vantage/
<steev>
no, i don't think anywhere else
<steev>
i don't experience that here, nor does anyone else apparently because it's the first i've heard of it
<exeat>
I've seen that (slightly laggy/choppy mouse cursor) a few times, IIRC a suspend-resume cycle fixed it
<Bioxvirizm-x13s[m]>
exeat: Is this fix present in the steev 6.3.1 branch?
<exeat>
I meant "close the lid and reopen it a couple of seconds later" :)

<steev>
not choppy here after doing that
<steev>
not saying it doesn't exist, saying i don't experience it... that being said... possibly a mesa thing
<steev>
i am showing that i'm 4 commits ahead of mesa TOT
<exeat>
To be clear, I was saying that suspend+resume _fixes_ the laggy cursor. Yes, in my mind it's related to the gpu and mesa changes, I think I first observed it it after enabling those.
<steev>
oh, then maybe that is it - it's just the deadline stuff iirc - i'm pushing it to github now
<Bioxvirizm-x13s[m]>
I noticed. that when the softwar renderer, with the cursor no problems, when in place of a softwar renderer appears FD690 begins to appear jerking.
<steev>
okay, then your mesa isn't good
<Bioxvirizm-x13s[m]>
я не очень силен в коде, может посоветуешь какой repo или что? Где я смогу изучить этот вопрос? mesa?
<Bioxvirizm-x13s[m]>
I'm not very good at code, can you advise me on a repo or something? Where can I learn this question? mesa?
<steev>
sorry, i don't mean isn't good, i mean missing the 4 patches related to syncobj/deadline
