hello! i have a laptop with touchpad synaptics tm3242-001 which is not picked up by haiku, neither beta nor nightly hrev56434. anything i can do to get it working?

in any case, a good starting point is making a bugreprot at dev.haiku-os.org so we can track all the info about it. You can include a syslog (available in /var/log/syslog) and any info you know about this touchpad

if it's i2c I think the driver is not finished and/or not integrated yet. If it's ps2 maybe we can fix our existing driver

daisy: ok, so for i2c, the starting point is getting the haiku sourcecode, editing build/jam/packages/Haiku and adding i2c_hid next to usb_hid and ps2_hid, and compiling haiku this way, to see if that helps or not

I'm not sure how finished the driver is. I would work on it, but on my laptop I ran into problems in the PCI driver that means I can't access my i2c devices yet...

Hi! I have a problem with graphics. Booting in EFI mode, without failsafe graphics gets it stuck on a black screen (and it spams the log with "check_sense: encountered DEFERRED ERROR - bye, bye"). After leaving it at the black screen it gets kind of weird though - it fades in and out a weird white pattern at the bottom of the screen, and it seems to happen at random moments. I'm running an i3-4005U with Intel 4400 HD graphics.
