Yes, there seems to be general sound problems in my case - ALSA lib confmisc.c:855:(parse_card) cannot find card '0' ALSA lib conf.c:5180:(_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_card_inum returned error: No such file or directory using alsamixer.

distro 6.0-rc1 kernel (same vmlinuz/initramfs as on the device) boot fine under HV and chainloaded directly, i.e. skipping u-boot and grub

these days the rules are, whatever we push to the asahi repo is OK for end users, whatever the latest asahi tag is is what ends up in asahi-dev (and *usually* works but can also break horribly; if it does I usually find out and fix it quickly though), and the main branch *usually* tracks that but not always (as you found out)
