building same kernel with same config on m1pro macbook take real 2m 55.09s, while on neoverse-n1 with 80 cpus takes real 8m 14.19s

I was initially on the newer version which worked as far as I could tell but downgraded to grub-2.06.r261.g2f4430cc0-1 which did not fix the issue
