Hi. First time installed Asahi on a M1 max Studio last night. Is there a known problem the keyboard (via USB) might not be working during grub screen? Bit hesitant to install the edge stuff without that working. ;)

Works fine in Asahi itself - just not on the grub screen.

yeah that's an issue with u-boot, assuming those are PCIe (which I think they are)

yes, the USB-A and front USB-C parts are connected to an asmedia USB PCIe controller. it needs PCIe support u-boot, firmware and a special why to load the firmware and a smc gpio to enable it

it's not possible. apple's primary bootloader have to know from which OS installtion to boot to load the matching firmware
