on a quick bent, I loaded a mid file through sequiter, and also did some track construction in there too, works fine. like I said, you would want the ability to configure the iconnectivity devices to get the most out of the device, but it just works in haiku.

I'm guessing that CheckNodeIconHint() (now ShouldUseWellKnownIcon()) was the problem, not CheckAppIconHint() but the latter was also hard to understand. In my defense both of those methods were copied from elsewhere not my original code... yet perhaps I didn't fully understand them and may have made some logical change accidentally.

Well,OpenIndiana development seems pretty slow unfortunately.They haven't even fixed their SSL certificate for days.But Haiku is well maintained and makes great progress like RISC-V support,graphics acceleration,Xlibe,Wine and so on.
