<skirst>
is there a way to disable the wifi adapter via a config file? my adapter works fine, just that i'm wired and would rather disable it than have it uselessly scanning for ssids
<skirst>
going into network settings and manually disabling it works, but doesn't persist across reboots

skirst: if you know which driver it is then you can block it from being loaded from the package file

<Begasus>
not that big of a deal, it's only a VM that's hardly used, only to check on things (now mozc)
<Begasus>
before the update: KERN: runtime_loader: /boot/system/lib/libstdc++.so.6.0.25: version "GLIBCXX_3.4.29" not found (required by libprotobuf.so.24)
<Begasus>
after the update it is ok (so at least gcc needs to be on par for that)

<nephele>
This is a bug in haikuports i guess
<nephele>
seems packages don't declare dependencies on libstdc++.so, or the specific version they need...
<Begasus>
protobuf was rebuild with the new gcc I guess here
<Begasus>
and mozc hasn't been rebuild after that, but yeah some weird thing ...
<Begasus>
anyway, heading out for a bit, cu later :)
<nephele>
libprotobuff is not declaring the dependency either
<nephele>
but this is likely a problem with all recent ports
<nephele>
recently compiled*
