Hello everyone, how are you, I am trying to port plan9port to Haiku, are there any good Linux -> Haiku porting guides from which I could adapt things?

lich9, any specifics?
<Begasus>
first thing try to see if you can get it to build from Terminal
<lich9>
X11 and basic Unix libraries
<lich9>
ar: _exits.o: No such file or directory
<Begasus>
we got some X11 libraries around, but not all
<lich9>
It generally is quite basic in its usage of plan9, I mean it managed to get ported to SunOS with limited adaptation
<lich9>
One second, I'll share the main INSTALL script

Hello all, attempting to install open sound to fix my sound setup, installed open sound and blacklisted all the packages as of https://discuss.haiku-os.org/t/open-sound-system-for-haiku/8407, however the sound issue remains the same, volume works media say there is connection but no amount of unmuting and sound setting toggling gives sound. After a bit checked /system/var/log/syslog and found it was loading the hda driver from
<YeetleMeBeetles>
"add-ons/kernel/drivers/dev/audio/hmulti/hda" instead of just "add-ons/kernel/drivers/bin/hda", now have both file locations blacklisted in the "/system/settings/packages" file but are still showing up within my syslog, still loading "add-ons/kernel/drivers/dev/audio/hmulti/hda" regardless of the blacklist. Was wondering if anyone whos done this before had any advice for making sure hda is out of the system for oss.
