jhovold: changing just the compatible here is enough to have the touchscreen work

dgilmore: it seems you have a g2 tech touchscreen, and shouldn't be using the elan driver, but you do need a post-power-on delay as you discovered
<jhovold>
would you mind testing how much delay you seem to need, and I'll prepare a patch to enable both touchscreens
<jhovold>
just set 'post-power-on-delay-ms = 100;' in the dt, you know 300 ms works, but would be good to know how low you can go and the we add some margin
<dgilmore>
jhovold: testing now
<dgilmore>
jhovold: with "post-power-on-delay-ms = <100>;" it works
<jhovold>
could you try and see how low you can go so we have an idea of how much margin we have?
<dgilmore>
sure
<jhovold>
try 50 and 10
<jhovold>
or so
<dgilmore>
I am currently questioning my sanity.
<dgilmore>
I am going to leave it off for a bit, and try again.
<dgilmore>
it worked all the way down to 1
<jhovold>
try closing the lid, for a bit and see if works after you open it again
<jhovold>
dgilmore: the driver uses msleep so we'll end up sleeping a bit more also for 1 ms
<jhovold>
if 1 ms works, and 0 always fail, we can set it to 10 or 20 or so
<dgilmore>
I have it closed and off. resume from suspend always crashes my system
<dgilmore>
it is now working without post-power-on-delay-ms set

craftyguy and JensGlathe[m]: could you do me a favour and see if you can reproduce the ath11k ring-buffer corruption with the following commit reverted:
<jhovold>
dbd73acb22d8 ("wifi: ath11k: enable 36 bit mask for stream DMA")
<JensGlathe[m]>
will do
<jhovold>
without it we're using bounce buffers for dma which could have been masking some existing driver bugs
<jhovold>
and it went into 6.9 which was around the time some people started hitting this issue much more often than before
<jhovold>
thanks!
<jhovold>
make sure to add back the msi-map if you've removed it locally
<bumble[m]>
want to share, have not encountered any issues using x13s w/postmarketos here. everything works seemingly flawlessly incl bluetooth and wifi :)
