needed to reset an x13s and have restored the windows installation there in order to get firmware --are there other firmware updates besides "bios" that I should search for?

bumble[m]: Not needed, everything can be gotten from lenovo's site for that machine

You can even do bios and ec updates without windows

I've read here some people have difficulties applying recent firmware for this machine using the non-windows ways. Anyway, windows is restored for the moment...

Then you can fetch the firmware from there (if the Windows partition is uencrypted)
