fridtjof[m]: just checked, looks i can't change the privacy settings to allow history before joining
<fridtjof[m]>
sven: hm, you're right. I only looked at the generic "change room settings" permission, but history settings are restricted to room administrators (should be called owners, tbh), which only the bridge is and will be.
<fridtjof[m]>
thanks for adding the logo though! :)

oh, this is a matrix room now!

<Tramtrist>
hm
<nicolas17>
"now"?
<sven>
it always has been a matrix room bridged to irc
<sven>
or, well, it’s an irc channel first that happens to be bridged to a matrix room
<Tramtrist>
thats what i was thinkin sven
<gsora[m]>
paciento[m]: Ayyy nice to see you here as well!
<Sobek[m]>
But now it has a nice room icon matrix sid

<weapon_of_nix[m]>
how does asahi pick which type of core to use? or does it just distribute evenly?
<kettenis>
no different than on other arm big.LITTLE designs
<weapon_of_nix[m]>
oh okay
<nicolas17>
weapon_of_nix[m]: Linux already supported somewhat-smart scheduling of processes when there's cores of different performance
<nicolas17>
basically the asahi patches had to give the correct info to the scheduler ("*these* are slower but more efficient cores") and the rest was already implemented
<nicolas17>
whether that scheduling is good enough or could use more improvements is another question :)
<Sobek[m]>
Is scheduling on asymmetric core an active research area ?
