waddlesplash: I went back and tested again. I was able to reproduce the issue with idualwifi7260 panic on my hardware too. Booting from a USB so idualwifi7260 and iaxwifi200 are both affected the same way on my hardware.

So for testing purposes is it better to work from a AnyBoot ISO or from a Stick that was installed using Haiku with Haiku(like an hard drive). What would be the difference and what would it mean?

so the driver fails to load the firmware, tries to bail, but then crashes instead

if you blacklist the driver and upgrade the intel_wifi_firmwares package and the wpa_supplicant package it should not crash and work
