Doing my 6 monthly test to see if Haiku boots. It does, but a) radeon_hd was crashing (starting the debugger on boot but couldn't interact with it) and seems like I can only boot if iI set the USB drive to be top priority in my boot order. Picking it from the menu in the BIOS or the quick-boot menu doesn't work.
