Why does terminal never remember it's size and always opens so huge :(

there is a settings->save as default menu

so set your window as you want it, and then use that menu

I've never used that, so where do the wierd positions and huge sizes come from? often times double my monitors height and width

I don't know, the default should be 80x25 I think? but you can also change it in the preferences window I think

I don't remember, I think the idea is it saves only if you use that menuitem, so any temporary resizing you do doesn't end up being saved

PulkoMandy: hmm, it doesn't quite seem to do that for me, perhaps it is not saving the "size" as such differently but chokes because I've specified a larger font size

Main devs are inactive for a long time :(

but you have to be careful that before gerrit was set up and used, commits were merged directly to git or svn and then review over email and fixes happened

so what now takes 1 commit took usually 2 (first for functionality + second for style fixes) and sometimes more

so the stats based on commit counts are not perfect

So, using the latest nightly, I reproduced the failure to boot on my machine, but this time I got a stack trace. "PANIC: calculated irq routing doesn't match bios for PCI 8:0:0"

PCI 8:0:0, according to lspci on my currently-booted gentoo linux, is the thunderbolt 3 controller (on my AMD 5950x system, so kinda rare)
