and even there's no chattr command to remove restrictions :(

It's done so no-one can accedentaly remove/add things there that are not suppose to be there ;)

packages are created in chroot and only contain the stuff needed in there

You can create one there LinuxUser
<Begasus>
But even then, you can't launch a "folder"
<Begasus>
Did you build something from source?
<LinuxUser>
no i'll explain what i need
<LinuxUser>
i decided to learn pascal instead c++ because pascal has great ide for haiku called lazarus ide that has window comstructor what exactly i need. next i installed it with fpc but it said that it need fpc sources(rtl folder doent exists inside /boot/system/apps/lazarus). I downloaded rtl folder and i need to place this folder to /boot/system/apps/lazarus.
<Begasus>
"pkgman install fpcupdeluxe"
<LinuxUser>
i tried it but it frozen
<Begasus>
you can build your own Lazarus with that and don't need to fiddle with system paths
<LinuxUser>
it has folder browse
<Begasus>
there is also a fpc-source package that you can install

make sure you install the glib2_devel package, if you're on a gcc2hybrid haiku you'll need to run 'setarch x86' before building

configure/install it with a prefix of /boot/home/config/non-packaged

If you want to *just* run a programm dependent on shared libraries you don't have in the system you can also put them into a lib/ folder next to the executable

I'll try it out. I'm trying to compile Zathura pdf viewer. It uses meson and a libmagic which is not in the repos so I had to install it manually.
