08:25 <novenary> hi, this came up in conversation elsewhere, I was wondering if a protocol for game controllers was ever proposed or considered? the scope would be fairly limited and the primary concern here is to route events through the compositor like other input devices, rather than having clients open /dev/input/whatever directly (and solve the security implications of allowing that)
