now that I paused and restarted at 18:12 I'm not noticing it, but I thought it was during over multiple seconds. Maybe it's some kind of state that accumulates over the entire album?
<LarstiQ>
hrmf, got it around 0:22 after rewinding, and then not on next rewind

i just saw my screen turn fully magenta for a second
<LarstiQ>
so far I've been able to reproduce it each time I listen to the album but it takes varying amounts of time, sometimes more than half an hour
<LarstiQ>
and I don't know if it's related to something else I'm doing, whether interacting with Firefox or computations in the background
<LarstiQ>
chadmed: not sure how to describe it, I could try recording it
<chadmed>
is it _only_ this album?

regarding speakers / mics - as these need some kind of software calibration as far as I've heard - is there a way for contributors to contribute measurements? Would it be possible to make documentation to that extent? Because assuming these are individual per device, it would likely be better if that work could be done by whoever has a device, and wouldn't need to be done by core devs

<Juest>
hey, how about reading linux filesystems on mac?
<Juest>
is it suggested to use paragon and the likes?
<Juest>
at least i'd like to be able to copy/move files from within macos directly to the linux partition

Juest nothing is suggested iirc, this is afaik not part of asahi. Best supported is probably to use an external drive
<fl0_id>
(or instead of an external drive a seperate partition to share)
<Juest>
yeah i guess.....
<Juest>
thanks
<Juest>
hfs+ works?
<Juest>
or any exfat partition i suppose
<Juest>
space is kind of tight tho
<Juest>
would prefer directly in case of large stuff or if i need to work on it from mac

nicolas17 yeah, I figured as much. but if it could be helpful... I know different ppl with various audio equipment things. I guess maybe not that kind of equipment, but without knowing more I cannot ask :)
<fl0_id>
Juest what do you mean hfs+ works, for what and from where? For access from linux it's not the best. either exfat, or even ntfs or fat32 is prob better. there is also apfsfuse, but no idea how well it works atm
<Juest>
fl0_id: apfs is out of the window due to encryption even without using filevault
