[haikuports/haikuporter] kallisti5 c1b4909 - initial_packages: Add an alternative tool to generate initial_packages locally
<B2IA>
(AGMS-Nightly) First run of BeShare from a package built with HaikuPorter!
<iisi>
Skipp_OSX: Yeah. Messed about a bit with it. Right now I have no power, though. Phone's living off battery, and might need to connect a battery pack in a few hours.
<B2IA>
(AGMS-64) After a bit of fuss with Haiku version numbers, got HaikuPorter to make a 64 bit BeShare package, which I'm using for typing this message.

kallisti5: do you have a lot of disk io going on with ipfs even if there isn't much network going on? I made sure I have not enabled gc but it still seems a bit heavy

<kallisti5[m]>
Yes :-)
<kallisti5[m]>
Forza: sorry for the short answer, was in a meeting. yeah, ipfs likes to churn a lot of disk I/O when idle. Keep in mind you may not be idle though (people could be pulling data from you)
<kallisti5[m]>
at the moment i'm seeing 200kbps -> 8Mbps outbound traffic randomly
<kallisti5[m]>
a lot of that is just the daemon connecting to other nodes, and sharing information
<kallisti5[m]>
you can access (ip):5001/webui to get some more information on what's going on
