<Begasus> 'lo humdinger :)
<humdinger> Hi Begasus!
<Begasus> humdinger, have the changes in the PR for weather been merged?
<humdinger> Yes. I wonder if we should make a true 'release' or just point to the last commit.
<humdinger> From a user perspective, it hasn't changed.
<humdinger> (aside from removing weird temp units)
<humdinger> I'll poke nexus.
<Begasus> Would be nice if I could launch it with the translations done :)
<Begasus> If anything is not really ready for a true release maybe a commit release would be good yeah
<humdinger> yep. before any releas we'll update the catkeys.
<Begasus> I guess that should make it a true release then?
<humdinger> Nah, just updated translations would be OK with a recipe revision bump IMO
<Begasus> +1 for me :)
<humdinger> let's see what nexus wants.
<Begasus> fine with that
<Begasus> The replicant is working fine, so not sure if having a Deskbar replicant would add up to that
<humdinger> PSA: If anyone wants to finish a translation of Weather before the update: https://i18n.kacperkasper.pl/projects/6
<Begasus> I'm done, only need to check if the translation is OK
<humdinger> I don't use the Deskbar replicant either. would be nice, but a generally working Weather is more important
<Begasus> is there a way to grab those translations and update a local recipe humdinger ?
<Begasus> right
<humdinger> Spanish is at 82%, so that would be a candidate
<Begasus> do you push the translation files there?
<humdinger> at the bottom you see "Export languages | only completed"
<humdinger> you can download all 100% as zip and unpack in the project folder. they'll be put in "locales"
<humdinger> Or...
<humdinger> I could update all finished language now in the repo.
<Begasus> I see I can export per language also
<humdinger> also possible
<humdinger> Begasus: don't forget to add "nl" to the Makefile
<Begasus> I know ;)
<Begasus> need to update the recipe here to the latest commit
<humdinger> We'll have to remove quite a few languages that aren't complete anymore.
<Begasus> k, building :)
thomaslewis has left #haiku [#haiku]
<Begasus> One thing, when uninstalling the replicant remains on the Desktop, is that normal behaviour?
<Begasus> Doesn't seem to be ok so far
<Begasus> Top right is the previous version (not translated), to the left the new replicant build with the nl catkeys, below the app, partly translated (days of the week are not translated ...)
<humdinger> when you embed in Tracker/Desktop, the locale of Tracker is used.
<humdinger> change Locale prefs. restart Tracker, embed replicant
<Begasus> fixed a type
thomaslewis has joined #haiku
<Begasus> typo*
<humdinger> proof-reading. always recommended :)
<Begasus> ah ok
<Begasus> yeah, hence I wanted to test
<Begasus> ps, in the replicant the days of the week are still not translated
<Begasus> nor in the main app
<humdinger> you sure the Formatting setting in Locale prefs is correctly set?
<Begasus> Local is set to "Dutch (Belgium)"
<Begasus> or "Nederlands (België)" :)
<humdinger> on the fromatting tab too?
<Begasus> ah :)
<humdinger> tricky
<Begasus> hehe
<Begasus> never mind the noise ;)
<Begasus> Thanks on the pointer humdinger ! Mostly I don't fiddle with those things as they are not that important to me :)
thomaslewis has left #haiku [#haiku]
<humdinger> yeah, normally set once and forget.
<Begasus> right ;)
<humdinger> and the setting can be years ago while you keep updating via SoftwareUpdater
<Begasus> ps, the Deskbar replicant is working, just doesn't show an icon here
<Begasus> but that one is still in English :P
<humdinger> yes. and its setting is hard coded
<Begasus> that's one for you guys ;)
<Begasus> k, heading out for a bit
* humdinger hands it over to nexus :)
