Hello Begasus, Anarchos.
<Begasus>
Hola OscarL!
<Anarchos>
OscarL do you use jam ?
<OscarL>
Anarchos: I think that instead of "jam haiku-nightly-anyboot.iso" you need to use "jam haiku-anyboot-image".
<OscarL>
I could swear that I read waddlesplash mention how to look up for jam targets, now I can't find his comment, but searching for "NotFile" seems like it?
<OscarL>
Begasus: does your PR for git contains the correct commit? I'm confused by the comment on that says "Disable for now", but it doesn't seems to disable anything :-D
<Anarchos>
OscarL i tried jam -q @nightly-anyboot, but no iso produced
<OscarL>
Begasus: also, the patch you added only seems to remove commented lines? is that enough to make it work?
<OscarL>
Begasus: and I guess git-prompt.sh would still cause issues with other shells, being under /profile.d/ still.
<Begasus>
OscarL, forget that comment, the issue should be mentioned there but right, nothing disabled
<Begasus>
have to step out, biab
<OscarL>
Anarchos: perhaps you need to use "jam -q @nightly-anyboot haiku-anyboot-image" (ie: jam <options> <@profile> <target>)
<OscarL>
like when doing "jam -q -jN @nightly-raw haiku.hpkg"

for Begasus (before I go to sleep): For git 2.42.1, I would just avoid adding "git-completion.sh"/"git-prompt.sh", until a proper way of adding those files is found :-)
<Begasus>
re
<Begasus>
I'm missing completion then OscarL, maybe only keep that and leave out git-prompt.sh for now?
<Begasus>
ps, sleeping? it's morning there now? :P
<OscarL>
Begasus: you can add the file manually, or follow the instructions inside, and source it from your profile/bashrc.
<OscarL>
Begasus: almost mid-day / noon. My sleep schedule is just as nuts as I am :-D
<Begasus>
it's in writeable files atm, so untill a manual removal it can stay (even if it's not in the package anymore)
<Begasus>
heh
<OscarL>
what does "removed bashism" means/accomplish on your patchset?
<Begasus>
iirc Gentoo or Debian did it the same way
<Begasus>
for me personly nothing really, thought it could solve the shell issue on your side
<OscarL>
Doubt that helps in any way with nephele's issue when using mksh.
<Begasus>
k, I'll "disable" them for now then (and keep my copy for completion at hand) :)
<Begasus>
ps, this Anglefish thing is working pretty fine :)

ho to identify what is missign to build the iso ?
<PulkoMandy>
Read the error messages in the build?
<Anarchos>
there is no error message :/
<Anarchos>
...skipped 701 target(s)... ...updated 402 target(s)... are the last messages
<PulkoMandy>
Anarchos: you have to look before that, it says it skipped targets so there was a problem somewhere

Anarchos: you need to run ./configure --update to find the new path to libsupc++ after buildtools updates
