08:31 <ndec> quinine: the linux bios option does not provide any dtb. it provides a mechanism to load the DTB 'someone' puts on the EFI partition.

08:32 <ndec> which means you can now have grub as the efi app loaded by BIOS, instead of dtbloader. so installing grub like normally done by distro.
