<steev> we're using an incorrect board file
<steev> at some point between now and the end of time, we'll get a correct one and wifi will work propery :D

<HdkR> Oh, I got that one as well
<HdkR> It was something related to the external display on my end

<hexdump0815> jenneron[m]: do you have some code what you did to move parts of the fw loading into initrd on your lenovo 5g?
<hexdump0815> i think i'm running into the same problem on the galaxy book go - started to play around with loading fw and got usb fs corruptions and usb reset i did not have before
<anarchron> Is this the X55 WWAN?
<hexdump0815> it looks a bit like starting the pd-mapper service on bootup triggers it - did not do enough testing yet to make sure this is really the cause, but it looks like
<hexdump0815> anarchron: for jenneron[m] it was i think - i think on the galaxy book go its maybe a bit different as i think lte running via the soc directly if i understand it correctly
<robclark> sc7180 has builtin lte+wlan
<robclark> (iirc that is the thing in gb go?)
<hexdump0815> robclark: yes - its sc7180 with lte+wlan
<hexdump0815> robclark: but trogdor devices are way nicer for linux usage :)
<robclark> yeah, suzq + el2 are nice ;-)
<clover[m]> steev: noticed an update to 6.2.y. important?
<steev> i... don't know
<steev> it's mostly for HdkR and is required for fdperf to work, but no idea what it means for userland in general
<HdkR> It only matters if you're microprofiling games basically
