wonder if driver "unload" could be improved here.
<OscarL>
k, that weird 100% CPU usage on power_daemon only triggers when using the acpi_lid driver.

dumb question. I am trying to contribute a new guide to the website. I cloned the website, created the page "md" file, etc. How do I actually view the page to see if it looks correctly in a web browser?
<Calisto>
it moved past the __inbuilt_ia32_ldtilecfg was not declared error and is now stuck at this one :)
<Calisto>
nevermind It compiled :D
<Calisto>
had to run the ./configure script again

@Callisto ohh this koth was very difficult :)

but I didn't win
<LinuxUser>
I understood my rookie mistake
<LinuxUser>
Yesterday I disconnected due to electricity disapperance
<LinuxUser>
My mistake was that I didn't disable kernel modules, and rootkit from other player(Ch1) was intercepting king.txt and I couldn't do anything(even overwriting)

gordonjcp: iirc tenacity is ported. But in generall i think the answer is somewhat "eh" because there are not that many native or ported apps in general playing well with our media kit

I mean basic structure is clear, but it's better to have a reference to get all the offsets right.

it is remarkable how many of the reasons in "data/system/data/fortunes/Tech Support Excuses" in my practice were either what was actually said to the user, or what had actually happened

PulkoMandy, for sdl_mixer I see that fluidsynth is disabled for 1.2, maybe it can be disabled for 2.* also, or just nuke gcc2 for sdl2_mixer?
<PulkoMandy>
I think we don't need any sdl2 libraries for gcc2
<PulkoMandy>
No BeOS apps would use it
<Begasus>
so far (disabled) blobwars doesn't mention secondaryArchSuffix (but that recipe is disabled), don't think it's in use by anything on gcc2
<Begasus>
k, will take it from there, wanted to have gzdoom out of the way first :)

is glad to finally have working brightness control on the "new" netbook! (UHD Graphics 600).
<Nephele>
Neat
<Nephele>
Brightness controls starting to work are one of the primary reasons for me why i want dem native graphics drivers xD
<Nephele>
that it makes multiple monitors much easier later on is a nice bonus
* OscarL
is also glad it only took adding some defines and returning the right value in a switch (thanks to all the folks that worked on the intel_extreme driver!)
<OscarL>
Also, kudos to TmTFx for leading the way for this particular card.
<OscarL>
WiFi card has been able to connect for the last 3 days in a row... that's also pretty good!

nephele: brightnes control also helps "a bit" with battery life... estimate time went from 5:30 to 9:00 on a full battery :-D
<phschafft>
hm.
<Nephele>
it's one power consumer for sure
<Nephele>
but we can probably do more for battery
<OscarL>
(lower than what Win/Linux claim, about 12:30, but hell... at least I'm not blinded anymore!)
