g'morning peeps
<erysdren>
good morning begasus!
<Begasus>
Hi there erysdren
<erysdren>
hows it going this fine day?
<Begasus>
Fine :)
<Begasus>
Qt5 finaly finished on 32bit with adjusted LLVM17 :)
<Begasus>
let's see with kdevelop
<Begasus>
I know now that Qt5 uses llvm-config to check for LLVM and that KDevelop uses the cmake config files from it, if both are fine it should be good to merge :)

[haikuports/haikuports] Begasus c466c08 - llvm17, move binaries back to /bin (reverts previous move) (#10501)
<Begasus>
k, this is going to take some time on buildmasters :)
<Begasus>
Done, KF6 frameworks in the depot
<Begasus>
downside from living on the edge: upgrade package kross_devel-5.116.0-1 to 5.115.0-1 from repository HaikuPorts :P
<Begasus>
not doing pkgman full-sync :)

Hi all! So, I have an old iMac 27" (4 Core i5-4570) which I efi boot Haiku on.
<timkack[m]>
Unfortunately, the last upgrade to hrev57742 changed something in either Framebuffer code or appserver code - it is brutally slow. Is there a way from within a booted haiku to switch to a previous state? I cannot get boot menu to work in the loader (space just leave a black screen for eternity)?

<diver>
timkack[m]: yes, pkgman ins /system/packages/administrative/state-[your_previous_state]/*.hpkg
<timkack[m]>
Super! thank you. I'll do that and see if I can see what the problem can be

ccache is making some difference. It's just not as fast as normal since it usually has to run the compiler's preprocessor before getting a cache hit

pkgman always maxes out at ~650 kB/s. is this because of the CDN limits?
