I'm hoping to make some progress with getting audio on my airbook working

cirrus audio on mba requires a patched HDA codec, been trying to tease the linux code apart to see how it all gets hooked in

and then comparing to how the haiku HDA driver's codec stuff does each part

I think stage 1 will be just applying the fixes directly to hda codec sources, and then figure out how to refactor it once confirms it's working

we have made several changes to the package tools and repository format, we kept an update path from one beta release to the next, but we did not test anything besides that
