The company has been accused of breaching human rights by arranging several illegal rendition flights for the CIA between 2003 and 2006,
<rennj>
They told the IRS it would meet a January 2006 deadline, but failed to do so, leaving the IRS with no system capable of detecting fraud. Its failure to meet the delivery deadline for developing an automated refund fraud detection system cost the IRS between US$200 million and US$300 million

<rennj>
not just u.s.a. the anti science party has doomed the world
<Skipp_OSX>
I find it funny that the people who believe gender is a spectrum claim to be the ones on the side of science
<rennj>
who cares about that, thats small fries compared to climate change..
<Skipp_OSX>
what's the down side? NY and SF underwater? sign me up!

Skipp_OSX, you got vaccinated?
<Skipp_OSX>
lol
<rennj>
or are you part of the current problems?
<Skipp_OSX>
I'm going to remain silent on that one
<jessicah>
will be getting mine soon, they've only just recently opened up vaccinations to the wider population here in NZ
<rennj>
that the madness, people who want it and dont have access, meanwhile we got chuckleheads here refusing to get it
<rennj>
and its free, cvs,wallgreens.walmart, and we are never going to get to herd immunity because the anti science part politicized it
<rennj>
hell they got to offer $100 bucks to take it at this point
<rennj>
or lottery prizes
<rennj>
For polio, the threshold is about 80%. measles 95% of a population needs to be vaccinated to achieve herd immunity.

I just tried Beta 3 on my GPD Win mini-netbook and it works amazingly good.I think it didn't with earlier versions.But because it is built with a smartphone display component,the orientation needs to be fixed in software.I can do it easily with xrandr with Linux but what can I do at Haiku?The screen settings don't have any orientation options.
<Begasus>
I there have been some questions for that on the forum

<PulkoMandy>
Coldfirex, pull request would be best, less work for me
<PulkoMandy>
mmu_man, it's possible to use installer to install over an existing partition. Files in /home will be preserved but I think settings and installed packages will be removed
<PulkoMandy>
but you need new install media to do this, so there's no point in doing it starting from a beta1 dvd
<PulkoMandy>
we need to get better at testing our update path, I guess
<PulkoMandy>
before we reach R1 🙂
