Does Haiku have a 'keychain' type thing, where it keeps credentials for HaikuDepot, websites, etc?

mrentropy64: there is the keystore server, but I don't think it's used with webpositive yet
<mrentropy64>
jadedctrl: Is there a way to view it?
<mrentropy64>
I'm asking because I have two identical FuseSMB setups, and one has write permission and the other doesn't. I'm wondering if those credentials are stored in there.
<jadedctrl>
mrentropy64: you can check ~/config/settings/system/keystore/keystore_database with Kottan or a hexdump program
<mrentropy64>
Cool. I'll have a peek. Thanks!
<jadedctrl>
mrentropy64: better yet, just found the `keystore` command
<jadedctrl>
might be a bit easier :p
<mrentropy64>
Oh yeah, that's way easier.
<nephele[x]>
jt15s: i doubt it, and the question would also be why we would want to implement such nonsense

<mrentropy64>
What does it mean when Web+ says Error loading (page) Interrupted system call?
<nephele[x]>
It means that it got interupted system call as an error :/
<countryboy>
mrentropy64: it means you have to pray ... xD
<mrentropy64>
I can't get to my NAS configuration page. I guess I'll have to USB files back and forth, which seems ridiculous.
<nephele[x]>
I have to make a new CA to make a new cert for my mail server, hmm... wondering if i can just do that on haiku
<nephele[x]>
though maybe our rng isn't the best, dunno if that matters

<humdinger>
stupid github seems to have changed something on their website again...
<humdinger>
doesn't work as well with web+ as a few days ago.
<mrentropy64>
I had the Atari Modern Controller plugged in Atari mode, and ran MAME and it crashed the OS with a divide by 0 error. I'll have to try it again with the controller in X Box mode.
<jessicah>
it's interesting how all these old games are still so popular with people
<jessicah>
on haiku?
<mrentropy64>
I grew up with them, so that's my interest.
<jessicah>
whereabouts was the divide by zero?
<rennj>
arcades i miss
<mrentropy64>
jessicah: Yeah, Haiku. That KDL thing came down and said it was divide by zero in the gamepad something or other.
<rennj>
25cent tokens
<jessicah>
oh it was in the driver?
<mrentropy64>
I guess. I'm sure I can make it happen again, but I'm busy slowly FTPing stuff and don't want to interrupt it.
<jessicah>
well should be sure :) is there a ticket? :p
<mrentropy64>
Which is weird, because RetroArch didn't have a problem with it in Atari mode and didn't work at all with it in XBox mode.
<mrentropy64>
No, no ticket yet. Next time it happens I'll take a photo of the screen and write it up.
<x512[m]>
mrentropy64: Probably yet another USB division by zero problem.
<rennj>
oof retroarch the new fangled bloated gaming system
<rennj>
mame command line
<rennj>
fs-uae is bloated pig compared to uae,e-uae
<mrentropy64>
x512[m]: Probably. My cat jumped on the VCS this morning and caused a divide by 0 with the keyboard.
<rennj>
RetroArch is a frontend for emulators, game engines and media players.
<rennj>
yeah frontends
<mrentropy64>
I gotta make dinner and feed the birds.
<rennj>
i-robot i use to play in arcades

<mrentropy64>
I, Robot was great. Only ever saw it in one arcade.
<mrentropy64>
The only thing I'm missing is sound.
<rennj>
heh, sound is kind of importan
<rennj>
only thing i missing is video output...hehe
<rennj>
video,sound,joystick bare min
<rennj>
RetroPie uses EmulationStation as frontend on top of RetroArch and other emulators, while the graphical interface of Lakka is directly coded in RetroArch
<rennj>
hmm lakka is what? frontend on pie devices?
<mrentropy64>
I'm not a big fan of RetroArch, which is why I did the Hatari, Stella, and Atari800 emulators seperately. But, it still has others that I can't just compile easily.
<mrentropy64>
Back in ye olden days, I wrote a front end for MAME (before they grafted their own on) on BeOS.
<rennj>
yeah i just command lines dos prompt mame.exe right now..i didnt even look for a frontend
<rennj>
dump roms in rom folder, and mame -joystick gamename seems to work
<rennj>
gamename is specific bullshit it seems
