<Coldfirex> waddleslpash: Do you know if we can still compile Haiku with LLVM? I read an old monthly report that you got it at least compiling a few years ago
<x512[m]> <Coldfirex> "waddleslpash: Do you know if..." <- I managed to compile working system by Clang some time ago. It needed some patches to work. Probably there are no significant progress from that time.
<jt15s[m]> ConditionBoy: That sounds like a really good idea, hopefully you can get around to submitting it (I definitely encourage you to do so) 🙂
<Coldfirex> x512: thanks! I must have missed that one. We should get a doc together on the build steps as well as known issues to better track its status
<AlienSoldier> revisiting retroarch, still can't get it to laun any games

<nephele[x]> -t nfs4 to mount or something, there is a post on the blog about this somewhere :)
HaikuUser has quit []
<mrentropy64> The problem with the post is that nothing is ever figured out with it. I can't get "mount" to mount an NFS share no matter what I do. It must be mount_nfs.

<nephele[x]> no, we have two nfs drivers
<nephele[x]> one is for nfs4, mount_nfs isn't what you want
<nephele[x]> there is a bug for something not working correctly, but afaik i got nfs4 to mount correctly before... but no gui means basically no testing by users, and no autodiscovery makes this even worse tested

<jadedctrl> mrentropy64: I used to mount NFS regularly with this command--
<jadedctrl> $ mount -t nfs4 -p "192.168.254.53:media" /media/
<jadedctrl> it worked just a few months back, not sure if something's changed since then
<mrentropy64> I get "Invalid Argument"
<mrentropy64> Oddly enough, if I had 100 1002 at the end of it, I get "The mount point '100' is not accessible"
