<dovsienko> one thing that seems to get in the way of multi-user Haiku use is that $HOME is always set to the default user home:
<dovsienko> uid=1001(buildbot-worker) gid=100(users) groups=100(users)
<dovsienko> /boot/bbw> echo $HOME
<dovsienko> /boot/home
<dovsienko> consequently, bash picks up the profile from there and $PATH also uses /boot/home etc.
<dovsienko> I wonder if it is compiled-in or configured somewhere
<phschafft> for most systems that value comes from the user database.
<dovsienko> so, when I created the user buildbot-worker, I specified /boot/bbw as the home
<dovsienko> (using the GUI user manager)
<phschafft> ah, and you still get /boot/home?
<dovsienko> yep
<phschafft> now your question makes all sense :)
<phschafft> thanks for clarification.
<dovsienko> correction: the new user shell is /bin/sh, if that matters
