as Haiku, and Haiku-related projects gets bigger... it seems obvious (to me at least) that the number of reviewwers (or their available time). becpmes a "choke point"-

We can't realistically count even on our super-achieverers (waddlesplash/kallisti5[m]/PulkoMandy/korli/Begasus/3dEyes/etc) to keep up with everything involving Haiku/HaikuPorts/HaikuArchives/

I've noticed that, for example, davidkaroly is a proper dev on Haiku, but he doesn't has merge powers on HaikuPorts (or even a "developer" badge on the forumes :-D).

HaikuPorts is a separate project, technically, with its own merge rights

What I'm aiming at... shouuldn't we start thingking about some "tiered" level of trusts.

I honestly don't pay too close attention to a lot of HaikuPorts goings on for the most part. if the other HaikuPorts mainstays like Begasus and augiedoggie think he should get access then I'll add him

My half-backed thinking here is.... Hauju deve have "+3", they can bestow "+2· powers on the litss of "Begasyss/auguiediggie/etc", the katter cioud grant +2 on folkjs that have "provent commitment"... and so one below, if neccessary?

just did a build for kaddressbook, it launches but needs to connect to akonadi, mentions dbus not launched, and even whan manual launch it's a nogo :)
