<phschafft>
embrace your bugs. one kind is to be stored in your garden, the other is to be stored in your git. but neber squash them.
<Begasus>
dogs don't always agree on the first :)
<Begasus>
32bit still broken (Haiku*)
<Begasus>
build* :)
<phschafft>
dogs need structure. I hear they normally live in unions. it's how their type is defined.
<phschafft>
while cats are a class on their own.
<Begasus>
with 9 of them here, it wouldn't be a good thing if they hadn't any structure :)
<Begasus>
devel:libassimp = 5.4.1 compat >= 5
<Begasus>
that means we can't have both 5.3.* and 5.4.* :P

em.
<phschafft>
yes.
<phschafft>
I think I know that the problem might be.
<phschafft>
hm, no.
<Begasus>
heh
<phschafft>
I thought the poll might be failing because I don't implement status(), but there is a fallback implementation that should be perfectly fine.
<phschafft>
for some reason I just don't get the socket reported as read-able.
<phschafft>
ha, it's working! :)
<Begasus>
whohoo :D
<phschafft>
the poll() was not working because I asked for the events '0'.
<phschafft>
I mean, if you don't set any event bits to ask for you won't get any back.
<Begasus>
figures :)
<phschafft>
;)
<Begasus>
assimp on par still (previous patch upstreamed) :)

<Begasus>
zardshard, are you still using ccache for the builds?
<zardshard>
Yes
<Begasus>
k, just did a PR to split up the ccache package, moving headers etc to a devel package
<Begasus>
are you able to check the PR?
<zardshard>
Not right now. Remind me tomorrow
<Begasus>
base package only contains the binary and the config file now
<Begasus>

Just wondering, is mounting privileged in Haiku?
<Anarchos>
win8linux[m] no cause haiku is mono user
<win8linux[m]>
I know that this distinction doesn't currently matter since the interface is currently single-user, but Haiku does have multiuser underneath that.
<win8linux[m]>
And there will come a time when multiuser is exposed through the UI.

wonders what's the point of meta-ports/meta_portsfile/meta_portsfile-1.recipe (resorts to "git log -S meta_portsfile" to find out).

seems it wasn't ever referenced, on-tree, by any .recipe, ever.
<erysdren>
then what is it, i wonder
<OscarL>
maybe a "helper .recipe" for when HaikuPorter was being developed?
